We offer a bespoke recruitment service for both temporary and permanent positions, for short or long term assignments. Basic Selection

All of the candidates registered with The Firm experience a rigorous selection process before being offered work on our client sites. We also satisfy ourselves that candidates have a good attendance record and will be a reliable addition to our clients’ staff. The basic staff selection process includes:
  • Full traceable work history
  • Full medical screening
  • Numeracy testing
  • Literacy testing
  • Reference testing

Specific Selection

  • Manual Handling and FLT Drivers - Safety videos are shown on registration to reduce on-site induction times.
  • Administration - Aptitude and keyboard skills are tested.
  • Where applicable we carry out Identity, Visa and Right to work in the UK checks. These are confirmed by Home Office documentation.

Procedure
  • To recruit candidates we take a complete job description either by visiting the company, over the telephone or via email.
  • When selecting we look for qualifications and experience to fulfil the role together with the right personality that would be most suitable to fit your company culture and philosophy to ensure the chosen candidate is the perfect match for you.
  • When the candidates are on site we carry out service reviews to ensure consistent service levels. As part of our service we also provide standby staff to ensure full cover at no extra cost.

Fees

  • Our fees are calculated as a percentage of the annual remuneration.
  • Standbys are always provided at no extra charge.
  • As a guarantee of our service we operate a rebate scheme if our candidate proves unsuitable during the first ten weeks of service.
